We are proud to have received a total of five annual awards from the Croatian Ethnological Society “Milovan Gavazzi” for 2024

– in the category of cultural heritage preservation:

• Ethnographic Museum, Zagreb – for the implementation of the new museum storage project (Kačićeva 9/2, Zagreb), which was opened on May 29, 2024

– in the category of museology:

• Marija Živković, Curator – for the exhibition Passengers (Ethnographic Museum, Zagreb, November 22, 2024 – November 28, 2027)

• Iris Biškupić Bašić, PhD, Museum Advisor – for the publication The Collection of Candle- and Wax-Working (Zagreb: Ethnographic Museum, 2024)

– in the category of popularization of the profession:

• Zvjezdana Antoš, PhD, Director – for the museum exhibition Intimate Spaces of Everyday Life (Ethnographic Museum, Zagreb, May 19, 2023 – September 7, 2025)

– in the student work category:

• Mateja Bešlaj Domankušić, Anđela Bilan, Darija Erjavec, Lucija Kovačević, Leon Vlašić, and Ana Zubčić for their contribution to the exhibition New Spaces of Intimacy (Ethnographic Museum, Zagreb, June 12 – August 18, 2024)
