MUSEUM GIFT SHOP

The Ethnographic Museum’s gift shop offers original traditionally crafted souvenirs such as traditional wooden toys, gingerbread and pottery products, handmade textile products, jewelry, etc. Publications of the Ethnographic Museum are also available: catalogues of exhibitions and museum collections, as well as museum journal (yearbook) “Ethnological Research”.

pet-friendly muSEUM

The Ethnographic Museum, with the support of the Zagreb Tourist Board, in 2015 became the first pet friendly museum in Croatia.

Aware that more and more of our fellow citizens share their lives with pets, we joined the list of European and world destinations that respect the new needs of visitors of different profiles, with the intention of making the time spent in the Museum as pleasant as possible.

In the broadest sense of pet-friendly policy, our Museum opens its doors to the community as a meeting place for dialogue on various topics from the field of cultural animal studies, as evidenced by the comprehensive program realized in the past five years – from exhibitions, through scientific and popular lectures and roundtable discussions, to pedagogical workshops, interactive online content, performances and humanitarian actions.

Visiting the Museum with pets is possible on weekends from 10 am to 1 pm, provided that museum etiquette is followed, which can be consulted before the visit, or received when purchasing a ticket.

Welcome!
