A projection of photographs of a series of orgasmic faces of the author with inscriptions taken from the wall hangings exhibited at the exhibition “Off the Wall – From Embroidered to Virtually Shared Values” will be the introduction to the performance. The inscriptions mostly relate to cooking. Therefore, what follows is a short essay on cooking and the importance of preparing food as the basis of our existence. Finally, the author will show the process of making and preparing schupfnudels with the assistance of Milan Božić. Cooked schupfnudels will be offered to the audience. Schupfnudels will be served with grated chocolate.

VLASTA DELIMAR (Zagreb, 1956) is one of the key figures who defined contemporary performance in Croatia, through the prism of her own body as a medium and content – a female, naked body that still remains a point of controversy in today’s society. Exploring femininity, male-female relationships and the stages of the life cycle – from youth and desire through partnership and motherhood to aging – in her work she brings autobiographical narratives into the public space that question the boundaries between public and private and the normative politics of identity.
