Ethnographic Museum’s storage facility

A year ago, the new museum’s storage facility was officially opened at Kačićeva 9/2.

Over the course of one year, thestorage facility has been visited by 1,500 visitors of various age groups, and active collaboration has been established with students from the Academy of Fine Arts, the Faculty of Textile Technology, and the Faculty of Philosophy in Zagreb (the Department of Ethnology and Cultural Anthropology and the Department of Information and Communication Sciences – Chair of Museology), colleagues from the entire museum community in Zagreb and Croatia, interested intangible heritage bearers, and users.

The experience is enriched through collaboration with a network of partners, such as the St. John’s Psychiatric Clinic, and continues to develop programs related to the promotion of health and a better overall psychophysical well-being, which can improve the quality of life for vulnerable groups (women, children, the elderly, the sick, etc.).

Numerous activities have been implemented!
